Thor star Jaimie Alexander celebrated her return to the MCU by sharing a behind-the-scenes photo of her from the Loki set.
Jaimie Alexander is one of the mainstays in the Thor franchise, starring as Lady Sif, one of Thor’s many companions. She was last seen in Thor: The Dark World. Lady Sif is set to return to the Thor franchise later next year in Love and Thunder, but Alexander stunned fans earlier this week when she appeared briefly in Loki. Despite not starring in the MCU for over eight years, Lady Sif’s return was met with huge acclaim from hardcore fans who missed her in 2017’s Ragnarok.
Lady Sif’s cameo in Loki is short but it was easily one of the most memorable aspects from the fourth episode. In the episode, Mobius throws Loki into a time loop, forcing the trickster to relive the moment when Lady Sif berates him for cutting her hair. The scene, both hilarious and sad (for Loki), reminded us just how much of a joy Lady Sif is. To celebrate her return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Jamie Alexander took to Instagram to share a fun little behind-the-scenes set photo from Loki.
