Funko Pops for Sony’s upcoming Venom 2 gives us a great look at Woody Harrelson’s Carnage.
The marketing campaign for Venom: Let There Be Carnage has officially begun. After the first trailer was revealed to rave reactions from fans, Funko has revealed their upcoming figurines for the Venom sequel. Funko is well known for producing bobblehead-like figurines for various pop culture niches, most notably film and television. They’ve become an absolute mainstay in the culture as they develop thousands of figurines for both hardcore collectors and casual fans. To coincide with the release of Sony’s next Marvel project, their latest figures for Venom 2 are Tom Hardy’s Venom and Woody Harrelson’s Carnage.
Currently, there are only two varieties for the Funko Pops. Of course, as with any mass-market-produced collector’s item, more variations will be revealed over time. It’s almost certain that Funko will eventually release Pops that feature Shriek and Toxin, two new characters set to appear in Venom 2. You can find the two standard-sized Venom and Carnage ones at any store where Funkos are sold. However, if you want to get your hands on a jumbo-sized Pop of Woody Harrelson’s Carnage, you’ll have to get them at Wal-Mart if you’re in North America.
