Zac Brown Band’s Clay Cook and his wife, Brooke, welcomed their third child and first daughter Cecilia Ellen Cook on Friday.
Cecilia — who was born in Newnan, Ga., on National Daughter’s Day — joins their two sons: 3-and-a-half-year-old Charles Robert and 2-year-old Theron Maine. A rep for the family confirmed to People back in March that she’s the “first girl in the Cook family since the 1930s.”
“Congrats Clay & Brooke! We can’t wait to meet the newest member of the ZBB family,” the Georgia-based country/rock album wrote via Instagram on Monday (Sept. 28).
“We could not feel more proud to introduce our daughter, Cecilia Ellen. We have always hoped for the opportunity to raise a strong girl alongside her two sweet brothers,” Cook wrote on Instagram Sunday (Sept. 27) with a picture from their People exclusive. “The fact that she came to us during this year is a blessing not lost on us.”
Fellow ZBB members Jimmy De Martini and John Driskell Hopkins as well as The Whigs’ Julian Dorio and Blackberry Smoke’s Paul Jackson congratulated Cook and his family in the comments.
