We have been on the watch for great but badly cheap notebooks for some time now. Acer’s $650 Swift 3 is an exceptional option for budget notebooks at the below -$700 range, however we have been itching to locate one at the nearly nonexistent sub-$400 class. To this end, now we are considering just 2 of Walmart’s greatest –a $378 Acer Swift 1 plus also a $350 Gateway GWTN141-2.
The two are serviceable if cheap notebooks, however the Gateway, even though being the less costly version, is going to be the obvious winner for the majority of people. It is stronger, more repairable, more upgrade-able, and also in our testing, even a little more dependable also.

We did not actually mean to check or inspection that the Swift 1–we purchased that a Walmart Motile 14, using a Ryzen 5 chip for just $350. However, Walmart has an unfortunate tendency to throw in any {} once it runs low on inventory, along with also the Swift 1 is exactly what got shipped in its location –without a telling, either by email or at our accounts at Walmart.com, without any paperwork at the box.
