On Fridaythe US Space Force stated it would establish two crucial Global Positioning System assignments on a utilized Falcon 9 rocket third year.
Doing this will save the army $52 million, officials said, since SpaceX consented to reduce reimbursement for the 2 assignments in exchange for flying utilized hardware. This represents a substantial measure from the Space Force toward supporting the usage of flight-proven initial phases of a rocket to get its many critical national security missions.
