The Falcon and The Winter Soldier features a surprising post-credits scene which sets up bigger plans for one of its villains.
Spoilers ahead for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier episode 6.
It’s been a thrilling six episodes, but The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has finally come to a close. But like most projects in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the series leaves most of its characters poised to move into new positions going forward – and that goes for its villains too. It took a little time to reveal who the Power Broker really is (although it was a little obvious) but it seems like they’ll be a major player in the future.
It seems like Sharon Carter’s villainous persona will become even greater in future shows or movies if the post-credits scene is anything to go by. It starts with the government giving Emily VanCamp’s character a full pardon for her crimes in Captain America: Civil War and welcoming her back with open arms. And although she accepts a position in her old CIA job, she’s got other plans in mind. The last few moments of the scene see her speaking with an unknown individual on the phone about getting her hands on experimental weapons and other high-value assets to sell on the black market. It’ll be interesting to find out who this other person is and if her role as the Power Broker will tie into the creation of other well known supervillains from the comics… Only time will tell.
