Shazam! composer Benjamin Wallfisch will return to the DC universe and reunite with director Andy Muschietti for Ezra Miller’s The Flash film.
Ezra Miller’s The Flash already received two different themes with Danny Elfman and Tom Holkenborg’s work on Justice Leauge. The Hollywood Reporter learns Shazam!‘s Benjamin Wallfisch will now step in and be the next composer to give The Flash a musical identity on the big screen.
The addition of Benjamin Wallfisch on Ezra Miller’s The Flash film isn’t much of a surprise, since he worked with director Andy Muschietti on both parts of It. Wallfish also scored the recent Hellboy reboot, The Invisible Man, Mortal Kombat, and worked with Hans Zimmer on Batman v Superman, Blade Runner 2049, and Dunkirk.

Plot details for The Flash are currently unknown. Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck will return as their respective Batmen and guide Barry on this journey inspired by Geoff John’s Flashpoint. Kiersey Clemons will reprise her role as Iris West in the film and Maribel Verdú is set to play Nora Allen.
Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script written by Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson, The Flash will be inspired by the Flashpoint comic storyline, which followed The Flash as he navigated an altered DC Universe. Written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kuber, Flashpoint radically altered the status of the DC Comics universe and led to the launch of the New 52 titles. It is currently unknown how much inspiration the upcoming Ezra Miller film will take from the comic.
