Shazam!: Fury of the Gods director David F. Sandberg trolled fans with the last page of the script for the upcoming DC sequel.
With Shazam!: Fury of the Gods heading into production this year, director David F Sandberg had an excellent way of trolling fans on Reddit with a supposed look at the final page of the script. The upcoming sequel has been in the headlines recently after both Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu have joined the cast of the Zachary Levi film. But will it end with a classic line that the internet has joked about for years? Probably not.
The Shazam! video was posted by David F Sandberg on Reddit with an eye-catching title that was sure to grab the attention of DC fans. It shows an unknown person (most likely Sandberg himself) running through the production office of the film and finding the sequel’s script and flipping right to the end. The dialogue suggests the super family end up in the Hall of Justice and find “Batman’s dusty cowl,” before Billy Batson jokes that “the real Justice League was the friends we made along the way.” It’s a good trolling effort from the director, but that line should stay in the film if you ask us.
