Soren Kragh Andersen won point 14 of the Tour de France at Lyon since Peter Sagan took a bite from Sam Bennett’s benefit from the points leader’s green jersey. The 194km point from Clermont-Ferrand did nothing to change Primoz Roglic’s standing in yellowish but was rather characterized by the struggle involving Sagan and Bennett from the points classification. Sagan’s Bora-Hansgrohe staff maintained the pace high daily to be able to fall Bennett about the increases, preventing the anticipated break from getting off and rather setting up a disorderly conclusion over the streets of Lyon. The Tour continues on Sunday with all the 175km jog from Lyon into Grand Colombier and finishes in Paris on September 20 using all the 122km point from Mantes-la-Jolie into Paris Champs-Élysées.
