Deathstroke star Joe Manganiello recently shared his support for the fan campaign to restore Zack Snyder’s vision for the DCEU.
Now that Zack Snyder’s Justice League has been released into the world and fans are pleased with the result, many are calling for the director to return to the DC Extended Universe to continue telling his Justice League story on the big screen. Although given that the Warner Bros. CEO recently called the Snyder Cut the end of his trilogy it’s not clear if the studio is interested in bringing him back for more. But now Deathstroke star Joe Manganiello has joined the chorus of fans who are campaigning to ‘Restore the SnyderVerse’.
Originally, Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke was going to be the main villain in Ben Affleck’s The Batman before the actor left the role and Robert Pattinson stepped in to star in the upcoming reboot. Had the film happened, it would’ve even seen Deathstroke battle against Batgirl at some point in the story. But Joe Manganiello recently took to Twitter to show his support for the fan campaign regarding the DCEU, posting a photo of himself in the Knightmare Deathstroke costume. Take a look below.

Here is the official synopsis for the Snyder Cut:
“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
