Ireland’s Sam Bennett maintained his first Tour de France stage win following a couple run on the Ile de Ré. The Deceuninck-QuickStep riders pipped Lotto Soudal’s Caleb Ewan into the lineup on Tuesday’s 168.5km point 10, together with Peter Sagan of Bora-Hansgrohe thirdparty. Bennett’s victory helped him make the green jersey there were not any significant modifications in the overall classification, together with Primoz Roglic keeping the total lead. Roglic will take a 21-second edge over defending winner Egan Bernal into point 11. Bennett currently has period drops in all three grand tours following previous successes in the Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a España.
