Maribel Verdú joins Ezra Miller’s The Flash as Nora Allen while Billy Crudup drops out of the project due to scheduling conflicts.
The Flash solo movie starring Ezra Miller finally looks like it’s getting off the ground after several years of development. Casting news is starting to come out, with filming expected to begin this spring in the UK. Earlier this week, it was revealed that Kiersey Clemons would be back as Iris West, and we now have another update. It was initially reported that Billy Crudup would return to play Henry Allen in The Flash after appearing in Justice League like Clemons. However, per The Hollywood Reporter, Crudup will no longer appear in the DC film due to scheduling conflicts.
The report also states that Maribel Verdú will play Nora Allen in Ezra Miller’s The Flash. Nora Allen plays an integral role in the Flashpoint storyline the upcoming film is inspired by, with Barry Allen messing with time to bring her back to life. Verdú is best known for her roles in the Spanish-speaking films Pan’s Labyrinth and Y Tu Mamá También.

Ezra Miller’s The Flash will be seen next in Zack Snyder’s Justice League:
“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut will hit HBO Max on March 18, 2021. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding The Flash, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
