Don’t worry, ‘Meta’ isn’t in there.
Konami – or to use its current full name, Konami Holdings Corporation – is looking to change its name to coincide with the company’s 50th anniversary.
So long as shareholder’s approve of the move, Konami’s board of directors has agreed to change the company’s name to Konami Group Corporation. Wild, we know. If the move is approved, it is expected to go into effect from July 1st.
