I Just Tried Spring’s Prettiest Pieces From & Other Stories—See All My Pics

Welcome to The Great Try-On. With spring officially in full swing, it’s time to ready your wardrobe, and we’re here to provide a little shopping inspiration. We got to try on some of the best spring pieces from some of your favourite brands and documented it all from our at-home dressing rooms so that you can see how they actually look IRL. We hope that our photos and candid reviews will help you shop for spring wardrobe builders that you’ll wear over and over this season and beyond.

If you’re a regular follower of my work (and Insta), you probably already know that my love for & Other Stories runs deep. Its clothing hits my eye just right—with pieces that strike the perfect balance of timeless and trend-forward, it’s versatile yet equally special thanks to unique details and silhouettes. So of course, I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to test-drive some pieces from its recent spring collection for The Great Try-On. I narrowed down my wish list to a handful of pretty knits (one of my favourite items the brand does so well), along with trending pieces such as loose tailoring, miniskirts and of-the-moment clogs. Along with all my mirror selfies, below, I’m sharing reviews on my eight favourite pieces that I believe are worth the buy.

My Review: This is one of my absolute favourite selections from its spring collection. The green-and-white striped polo leans into this season’s preppy trend perfectly. But it’s the unique rhinestone-encrusted floral buttons that set it apart from any other collared sweaters—so ridiculously cute. Also worth noting is the wonderful quality, which feels luxe.

My Review: Okay, how pretty is this embroidered cardi? I love the vintage-inspired vibe of this knit that I could totally see a stylish French girl wearing on the streets of Paris with high-waisted jeans. The drawstring-belt detail adds a flattering silhouette, the delicate floral embroidery is precious, and the subtle puff sleeves add to its charm. Perfect for spring.

My Review: I’ve been wanting to add a chic miniskirt—one of this season’s biggest trends—to my wardrobe, and when I saw this one, I was immediately drawn to the luxe and versatile look of it, which is giving me major Chanel vibes. This has a great fit and feels polished enough to wear to meetings. It can easily be styled with casual trainers, cute flats or sandals. It’s definitely the type of skirt I would wear a lot throughout spring and summer.

My Review: As you can probably tell, I love a top with pretty details, and this lovely front-tie ribbed cardigan is as cute as they come. The lilac–dusty blue hue is gorgeous. I’d recommend wearing it with a barely there nude bra underneath or go braless for a seamless and sultry look. All this cardi needs is a pair of jeans and statement earrings to take you from day to night in style.

My Review: For a subtle and wearable take on the cut-out trend, this LBD is a winner. The fabric is lightweight, soft, and super comfortable—perfect for wearing with flatform sandals for casual cocktails or strappy heels for a more dressed-up night out. It hugs the body beautifully and has a stunning silhouette.

My Review: I love these wide-leg trousers with a capital L! This season is all about loose tailoring, and & Other Stories nailed it with these draped trousers. I’d style them with Birkenstocks or sneakers to give them a more casual touch. The high-waisted silhouette is flattering, and they look way more expensive than their price tag.

My Review: & Other Stories’ shoe-and-accessory game is strong—it always hits on some of the season’s biggest trends. Case in point: these clogs. I know clogs aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I happen to love them, and this versatile pair would look so good with everything from floral frocks to jumpsuits and jeans. They’re made of natural wood, so they are on the heavier side. I probably wouldn’t wear them to walk super-long distances, but I live in drive-everywhere L.A., so that’s not too much of an issue for me!

My Review: This collared sweater feels elevated and is so easy to wear. It looks great with jeans, but I could also see myself wearing it with a cute tennis skirt or crisp, tailored shorts. You simply just can’t go wrong with this one.

Isn’t the back of this top beautiful?

I saw so many people pick up this dress when I was in the store at the weekend.

My mind is officially in holiday mode now that I’ve found the perfect swimsuit.

Guaranteed you’ll reach for this chic bodysuit daily.

Trousers that say spring has sprung!

Pointed-toe slingbacks are a fashion-set favourite this season.

A suit I’d gladly wear to all the weddings I’ve been invited to this year.

Bra tops are trending—this might be my all-time favourite.

Ballet flats are back in business.

A jumper made for the warm temps ahead.

Time to add this season’s trending hue to your look.
