PlayStation JRPG and Chrono Trigger sequel Chrono Cross has had its much-rumoured remaster confirmed today, and initial impressions aren’t great.
Unlike stablemate Live A Live, which is getting the HD-2D treatment, Chrono Cross tries to retain the look of the 32-bit original by using 3D characters and pre-rendered backgrounds. As you can see from the trailer, the end result doesn’t appear to be all that successful.
