Pete Davidson is playing it super cool even after Kanye West rapped about how he wants to knock the comedian around!
The Saturday Night Live star doesn’ t seem too stressed about Ye’ s infamous recently-released diss track , as insiders are coming forward to divulge details about the sticky sitch!

As Perezcious readers will no doubt recall, Ye called Pete out by name in his new track featuring The Game , with Kim Kardashian ‘ s estranged husband referencing his recovery from a 2002 car accident with the line:
“ God saved me from that crash / Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’ s ass”
In the time since that bar saw the light of day, Ye and Pete have reportedly had some near run-ins . And earlier this week, a source claimed that the particular feud, combined with Pete’ s high-profile status, was enough for the King of Staten Island star to hire a security detail to tail him just in case!
But now, a new report published by Page Six seems to suggest Pete isn’ t worried at all! An insider explained the comic is having no problem finding the humor in his brand new high-profile situation (below):
“ Pete thinks it’s totally hilarious. Not just that — this individual thinks the whole [tabloid drama] is hilarious. He loves it. It’s funny to him that the press wants to know his every move almost all of a sudden. ”
Somehow, we’ re not surprised that Pete will be finding humor in an absurd situation! And we’ re also not surprised that Kanye clearly isn’ t finding that same humor, TBH… The source added another interesting tidbit, too: Kim and Pete are usually bonding over the brouhaha! The insider alleged:
“ Kim and Pete can talk to each other about what is usually going on. It’s nice in order to have someone to share concerns along with. ”
If there’ s anybody who knows anything about paparazzi, and protection details, and A-list feuds, it’ s definitely Kim! Who better to have around to speak it out?!
A second source also spoke to be able to the outlet about Pim’ h bond in relation to Ye’ s recent antics, adding:
“ The whole craziness with Kanye last week has brought Kim plus Pete closer. ”
Well then! Soooo it seems to us like Ye’ s aggressive attempts at reconciling with his estranged wife might have backfired, then?!

To be fair, Pete and Kanye’ t contentious connection goes back long before Pim was ever a thing, though. Back in 2018, after Yeezy wore a MAGA hat while hosting an episode of SNL , the 44-year-old rapper went on a long rant about supporting Donald Trump that never made this to air.
Pete popped up on SNL ‘ s Weekend Update the very next week to discuss typically the incident, and called Kanye out for his off-air Trump support, saying:
“ Speaking strictly for myself, what Kanye said when we went off the air was one of the worst, most awkward things I have ever seen here and I have observed Chevy Chase talk to an intern. ”
Yikes!
During that segment, Davidson also quipped that Ye should take medication for you to deal with mental health issues, humorously noting that meds had helped the comedian get through his own tough times:
“ Kanye, I know you are like, ‘ this is the real me, I’m off this meds. ’ Take ’ em. There is no shame in the medicine game. I’m on ’ na, it’s great. There’s nothing wrong with taking them. ”
Knowing what’ s i9000 been going on ever since Kim and Pete linked up , that old Weekend Update segment is suddenly super telling! It appears Kanye has been feeling salty for a few years now, and Pim’ ersus pursuit of love might have been the straw that broke the camel’ s back??
Ch-ch-check out that 2018 SNL call-out clip (below):
Damn!
Watching shade like that, suddenly it’ s no wonder Ye dropped the diss track. But honestly it’ nasiums super funny to learn that Pete apparently doesn’ t give a f**k about it! Sorry, Yeezy!
