James Gunn has admitted that he wants and needs a break after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 but still wants to make a second season of Peacemaker. James Gunn has been working nonstop since he was hired to write and direct The Suicide Squad. During and after the production of the film, the director was also working on the Peacemaker series which debuted this week on HBO Max.
