They say “official YouTube channel” and “Pokémon” a lot.
With the recent end of the Nintendo Minute show, Nintendo of America’s YouTube channel is currently limited to its Nintendo Power Podcast and Monthly Rewind videos in terms of relatively unique content. Of course marvellous showcases like Indie World and Nintendo Direct broadcasts shake things up too, but in terms of developing personalities and regular viewers it wouldn’t surprise us if another weekly or monthly show is devised this year.
In any case, the Monthly Rewind videos are often a good watch as summaries, reminding us in this case that December was relatively busy and interesting from a Nintendo perspective. This was driven by the Indie World broadcast, but we also had game award success for Metroid Dread to celebrate. And Pokémon stuff, the narrator says Pokémon a lot.
