Tom Holland has teased the shocking decisions Peter Parker will make in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
In just a week, fans will finally be able to go see Spider-Man: No Way Home in cinemas. The highly-anticipated Spidey threequel will break open the multiverse, resulting in previous Spider-Man villains going up against Tom Holland’s Peter Parker. Rumors have also suggested that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will also be reprising their roles, though nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
Not only will the film deal with old villains but it’ll also investigate new problems, like Spidey’s identity fully revealed to the entire world. With Peter Parker and MJ dealing with the fallout from Spider-Man: Far From Home, it’s fair to say that things will get dicey for the duo.
In a chat with CBR, MJ star Zendaya teased how we’ll see a different side of Peter Parker in the film.
“We see so many more sides of Peter. All the characters, you know? We get to emotionally put them under a certain situation we’ve never cinematically seen. So you see them deal with different kinds of pressure, different kinds of scrutiny, different kinds of…”
Tom Holland then cut in, teasing how Spider-Man will be making some interesting decisions that will shock fans when they’re seated for No Way Home.
“Yeah, and also Peter Parker’s ability to be bad. There’s something that happens in this film which I think fans will be very shocked by, which is really exciting and, for me, was something I loved bringing to the screen.”
Peter Parker will likely stick to being a good guy, but it’s interesting to see the more nefarious side of the character explored. The trailers have shown Peter battling Doctor Strange, so perhaps the character’s “shocking” decisions lead to the Avengers clashing.
