Last year saw the entire BioShock series (well, its mainline games, at least) arrive on Nintendo Switch, introducing a whole new wave of players to a franchise widely considered to be one of the best in the single-player shooter genre. In a recent Sacred Symbols podcast, journalist Colin Moriarty shares details on ‘BioShock 4’, the unofficial name for the next title in the series. He claims that developer Cloud Chamber is aiming for a 2022 release and that the game will take place in a fictional Antarctic city during the 1960s – UK news outlet VGC claims to have heard similar.
