The runtime for Marvel and Sony’s highly anticipated Spider-Man: No Way Home has been revealed two weeks ahead of its release.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is expected to be one of the biggest superhero movies of all time. Not only will the film feature the return of villains from past films by way of the multiverse, but other Spider-Men are also expected to appear.
Collider has now revealed Spider-Man: No Way Home will be 150 minutes, or two hours and 30 minutes long. This makes No Way Home tied for the third-longest Marvel film right behind Eternals at 157 minutes. Avengers: Endgame remains the longest, clocking in at three hours and two minutes.
No Way Home‘s lengthy runtime is also ahead of Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which is two hours and 22 minutes. The long runtime should come as no surprise, but so far we’ve seen little from Tom Holland’s latest adventure as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
Here is the synopsis for Spider-Man: No Way Home:
For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is umasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.
Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B. Smoove, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, and Willem Dafoe.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit theaters on December 17, 2021. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding Marvel and Sony’s upcoming sequel, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
