It’s safe to say that Timothee Chalamet is one of the most in-demand actors of his generation. The Academy Award-nomiated actor recently portrayed Paul Aetreides, the protagonist of Dune, which is now officially set to have its sequel hit the big screen in 2023. Given his talents, he has been a constant candidate for fan casting in certain comic book roles, particularly as Dick Grayson AKA Robin in Robert Pattinson’s The Batman universe.
At this time, it is unknown if director Matt Reeves intends to implement Robin into his established version of Gotham City to be introduced in The Batman. But given that Timothee Chalamet currently has an established relationship with Warner Bros. thanks to his roles in both Dune and the upcoming Wonka movie, some have speculated that he would be the filmmaker and studio’s top choice for the role as the Boy Wonder.
Timothee Chalamet has mentioned that he’s been advised against pursuing superhero roles, but that hasn’t stopped fans from wanting to see him reunite with his The King co-star Robert Pattinson. Whether or not Matt Reeves brings Robin into his planned universe of The Batman, don’t be surprised if Warner Bros. would ask him to bring Timothee Chalamet in. Here’s hoping we finally get a big screen portrayal of Dick Grayson that is worthy of his iconic legacy in the comics.
Timothee Chalamet can currently be seen in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune, which is now playing in theaters and streaming on HBO Max until November 22. Meanwhile, here’s the synopsis for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman:

Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the titular hero, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.
