A brand new clip from Hawkeye shows just how awkward and hilarious Kate Bishop and Clint Barton are.
The wait for Hawkeye is almost over! The Disney Plus series, which stars Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld will hit Disney Plus later next week, making it the final Marvel Studios show for the year. The series will aptly take place around the Holiday season and will focus on Renner’s Clint Barton getting whisked away on an adventure by Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop.
One of the most interesting things about the show is the dynamic between the Hawkeye-obsessed Kate Bishop and the apathetic Clint Barton who just wants to get home for Christmas. A brand new clip from the series teases just how awkward and hilarious the banter between the duo is.
The clip sees Kate Bishop and Clint Barton and Bishop’s home, where they’re seated with her mother. Bishop’s mother inquires as to why Barton, a grown-man, is at their home, while Bishop tries to boast that she is on a mission and is partners with Hawkeye. Renner expertly pulls off the aloofness as he denies everything, leading Bishop to be frustrated.
Here is the synopsis for Hawkeye:
“Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.”
Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Brian d’Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox. Florence Pugh is expected to return in her Black Widow role.
Hawkeye is set to premiere with two episodes on November 24, exclusively on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the potential future of Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin and Daredevil. You can also subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
