‘Batwoman’: Nicole Kang Suits Up As Poison Ivy In First Look

The CW has officially unveiled the first look at Nicole Kang as Poison Ivy for Batwoman.

Batwoman is about to get its latest villain in this week’s upcoming episode. Nicole Kang, who stars as series regular Mary Hamilton, will officially become Gotham City’s terrifying Poison Ivy on the upcoming “Pick Your Poison”, which airs on November 24, on The CW.

Nicole Kang’s Poison Ivy debut episode will serve as the mid-season finale for the series. The episode promises to be one that sends the Batwoman team into chaos as they reel from Hamilton’s shocking transformation.

Nicole Kang has been a mainstay for Batwoman since the series’ inception, so it’s great to see Mary Hamilton finally getting her vengeance against the people of Gotham as Poison Ivy. Kang joins a long line of artists to depict Poison Ivy, with the most famous being Uma Thurman in 1997’s Batman & Robin. We’re hoping to see Kang continue to grow into the role, and hopefully see her as Poison Ivy for more than a handful of episodes. After all, Mary Hamilton needs her payback after all this time.

Here’s the description for the next episode of Batwoman season three:

“DOUBLE TROUBLE – As Ryan’s (Javicia Leslie) family dynamic grows more complicated, she also finds herself in the middle of a Bat Team stand-off between Luke (Camrus Johnson) and Mary (Nicole Kang). Meanwhile, Alice (Rachel Skarsten) finds a new sidekick to do her bidding. Also starring Nick Creegan and Robin Givens. Holly Dale directed the episode written by Kelly Ota and Emily Alonso (#307).”

The CW series stars Javicia Leslie, Rachel Skarsten, Meagan Tandy, Nicole Kang, Camrus Johnson, Victoria Cartagena, Robin Givens, and Nick Creegan.

Batwoman season three is currently airing on The CW. Stay tuned for all the latest news on Javicia Leslie’s Batwoman and Ruby Rose. Also, be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original content!
