Another clip for Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye series was released on Disney Plus Day, which sees Clint Barton overlooked in Times Square and a Hunger Games joke.
Hawkeye will be hitting Disney Plus in less than two weeks away, and the early word on the latest Marvel series has been positive. Similar to what we saw on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, it looks like Hawkeye will also explore the day-to-day life of the Avenger on a much smaller scale.
During Disney Plus Day, an excellent action-packed sequence was released on the streaming service with Echo and the Tracksuit Mafia. Before the festivities kicked off this morning, Good Morning America debuted another new clip from the Marvel series featuring Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton and Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop bickering in Times Square, which notably includes a funny Hunger Games joke. The footage also gives us that small-scale vibe with the Avenger amongst civilians and being overlooked. You can watch the new Hawkeye clip below.
Here is the synopsis for Hawkeye:
“Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.”
Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Brian d’Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox. Florence Pugh is expected to return in her Black Widow role.
Hawkeye is set to premiere with two episodes on November 24, exclusively on Disney Plus. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news regarding the future of Clint Barton and Kate Bishop in the MCU, and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
