Disney Plus has released a Christmas-heavy poster for Hawkeye.
Get your Mariah Carey record and ornaments out because Christmas has come early this year. Disney Plus’ Hawkeye series surprised fans when the first trailer showed the project leaning heavily, like really heavily, into the Christmas setting. Set during the Holidays season, the series will focus on Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton being whisked away on a life-threatening adventure by Kate Bishop. Details on the series are slim beyond that, though the wait for Disney Plus’ latest shrinks each day.
To get us in the mood for the Holiday season, Disney Plus has released a brand new poster for Hawkeye, which dials up the Christmas cheer to 11.
In the poster, Hawkeye and Kate Bishop are seen in their some-what-traditional purple suits as various archery targets hang around them like ornaments. The series is set to debut later this month on November 24, making it the perfect show to watch between family squabbles at Thanksgiving. In a surprising move, Disney Plus will launch two episodes back-to-back, giving fans just enough to chew on during the long weekend.
Here is the synopsis for Hawkeye:
“Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.”
Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Brian d’Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox. Florence Pugh is expected to return in her Black Widow role.
Hawkeye is set to premiere with two episodes on November 24, exclusively on Disney Plus. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news regarding the future of Clint Barton and Kate Bishop in the MCU, and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
