Ms. Marvel and Andor aren’t expected to hit Disney Plus until the company’s second-quarter of 2022.
Disney Plus day is approaching, but that didn’t stop the mouse from sharing new information about some of their most anticipated projects. Ms. Marvel was initially expected to debut this year but has since been pushed while Andor was already set to drop next year after recently wrapping up its long production.
During Disney’s earnings call on Wednesday, the company announced that Ms. Marvel, Andor, and the live-action Pinocchio film won’t hit Disney Plus until their second quarter at the earliest. Because Disney kicks off their fiscal year in October, this means we won’t see these projects until July, August, or September.
Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor first appeared in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story; here is the film’s synopsis:
From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
Directed by Gareth Edwards from a screenplay co-written by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy based on a story by John Knoll and Gary Whitta, Rogue One stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is available on Digital HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD. Stay tuned for all the latest news on Diego Luna’s Andor, Ms. Marvel, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more great video content!
