A new concept design shows Charlie Cox’s reprising his role as Daredevil for Tom Holland’s highly-anticipated Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Rumors have suggested for quite some time that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will be reprising their roles as their respective Spider-Men in Tom Holland’s upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home. Some have likened the film to a live-action take on the Spider-Verse concept, making it one of the most unique films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While the various other Spider-Men have dominated the conversation surrounding the Spidey threequel, there’s another rumor that has persisted as well.
Rumors have circulated for over a year suggesting that Charlie Cox will be reprising his role as Daredevil/Matt Murdock in the upcoming Tom Holland film. It’s expected that Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock will serve as Peter Parker’s lawyer. Of course, the rumor hasn’t been confirmed, and Cox has denied his appearance previously.
While we won’t know for sure if Charlie Cox will be popping up in Spider-Man: No Way Home until we see the film in cinemas, artist Spdrmnkyxxiii has cobbled together a conceptual poster for the film.
The poster shows Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock aiding Peter Parker in his legal troubles. Honestly, this design shockingly looks authentic and could pass as an offical poster for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Of course, Cox hasn’t been confirmed to return as Daredevil, but all of that culd very well change when the Tom Holland threequel hits cinemas later next month.
Here is the synopsis for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home:
“For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is umasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.”
Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, Spider-Man: No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B. Smoove, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Alfred Molina.
