Today, Back 4 Blood detailed their content roadmap which will involve various free updates and the Annual Pass coming to the game this year and beyond.
On the free updates side of things, there will be a solo offline mode with campaign progression, new difficulty level, new co-op mode, all-new cards and card type, a holiday seasonal event, and much more. Here’s a quick snapshot of upcoming free updates coming to Back 4 Blood…

The roadmap also highlights the first expansion from the Back 4 Blood Annual Pass, called Tunnels of Terror, which will be available next year. Tunnels of Terror will feature a new activity type, story content, playable Cleaners and Ridden, weapons, cards, and exclusive skins. And for those interested in picking up the Annual Pass (including Tunnels of Terror and two additional expansions), you can get it now à la carte, or it’s available as part of the Back 4 Blood Deluxe Edition (digital only) and Back 4 Blood Ultimate Edition on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
Don’t forget, Back 4 Blood is also available with Xbox Game Pass for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, Windows 10/11 PC, and Cloud Gaming (Beta) with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Also, as an Xbox Play Anywhere title, Back 4 Blood owners are also entitled to both Xbox and Windows PC versions with shared saves, game add-ons, and achievements.
