Brenton Thwaites May Have Just Confirmed ‘Titans’ Season 5

Dick Grayson actor Brenton Thwaites may have just confirmed that Warner Bros. has greenlit Titans for a fifth season.

The hit series Titans was officially renewed for a fourth season at this year’s DC FanDome after a stellar third season. Rare is it to see a superhero show get better over time but Titans has managed to get more meaningful and brutal as time has gone on, especially now that it’s an HBO Max exclusive. The future for the DC series seems uncertain beyond the fourth season but it looks like, at least internally, there are solid plans for a fifth season.

In a recent interview with Matt Sheehan, Brenton Thwaites is asked about the future of his character, specifically after this vision in the Lazarus Pit. The vision saw him having a child with Starfire. Clearly, Titans is setting that up as a core plotline for the future of the show. But how far in the future? When discussing it, Thwaites says that the vision is a hint “for what’s to come in Season 4 and 5.”

When asked if it’s a done deal, Brenton Thwaites commented by saying that the team “were very confident that would happen, because I feel like doing that and not following through? You can’t do that too many times.” So while it hasn’t been officially confirmed that the fifth season of Titans is in the works, it’s all but likely that the creative team is charting out the future of the show.

Here is the official synopsis for Titans season three:

“Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find where they belong. In season three, circumstances draw our heroes to Gotham City, where they will reunite with old friends and face new threats.”

Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Nightwing, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Minka Kelly as Dove, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Joshua Orpin as Superboy, Chelsea Zhang as Rose, Curran Walters as Red Hood, and Iain Glen as Bruce Wayne.

The third season of Titans is now streaming on HBO Max. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the show’s upcoming fourth season and the other projects straight out of DC FanDome. You can also subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
