A brand new look at Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus from Spider-Man: No Way Home has been revealed.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is not only set to cap off Tom Holland’s “Home” trilogy, but it’s also set to introduce a Spider-Verse like premise. The film will see the return of previous Spider-Man villains like Jamie Foxx’s Electro and Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus, making it one of the most interesting movies Marvel Studios has produced in a long time.
With the release of No Way Home gearing up, Empire Magazine has debuted two new stills from the Spidey threequel. The first image shows a maskless Tom Holland in the Spidey suit, ready for battle. Holland looks completely wiped out as Spidey, so it wouldn’t be surprising if this still was from the finale of the film.
The other image gives fans another glimpse at Holland’s Spider-Man and Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus. In the image, Holland’s hero can be seen running away from Doctor Octopus, who is about to hurl a car at him. Watch out, Spidey.
Looks like the battle between Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus is going to be a rough one. It’s still unknown just how prominent Doctor Octopus and Electro will be in the final film, as the project is rumored to also feature Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin. The subscriber cover from the same Empire issue featured hints at Sandman and Mysterio also appearing in the film.
Here is the synopsis for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home:
“For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.”
Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B. Smoove, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Alfred Molina.
No Way Home is currently set to be released on December 17, 2021. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the film and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
