Of all the shoe trends there are each season, flat-shoe trends are the ones that always seem to come back around every few years—ballet flats, mules and brogues, for example. But perhaps the most likely style to keep coming back around over and over is loafers. We never get sick of them, and we never get rid of them when we’re cleaning out our wardrobes.
Loafers are classic and cool, and there are plenty of little tweaks that brands can make to them so that they feel especially fresh. This year, it’s adding a lug sole.
