New US games sales data has revealed that the Switch’s incredible streak as the country’s best-selling console month after month has now come to an end.
For the first time in 33 months, a console other than Nintendo Switch topped the US charts in September. As reported by The NPD Group’s Mat Piscatella, Sony’s PlayStation 5 was September’s best-selling hardware platform in both units and dollar sales.
