WandaVision star Randall Park teased the future of his character Jimmy Woo.
Randall Park made his debut as Jimmy Woo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Ant-Man and the Wasp. He made his return in the MCU’s first official Disney Plus original series WandaVision, where he often shared screen time alongside Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis. The roles of both characters in the show left some fans clamoring for a spinoff featuring the two on missions.
Thankfully, Jimmy Woo survives the events of WandaVision, leaving the door open for the character to return to the MCU in the future. While speaking with ABC7 NY, Randall Park stated that while he can’t guarantee his return, he does expect to come back “at some point.” The actor expressed his love for the character:
“That would be a blast. I just love playing the character. I love the fact that he is such a sweet person. I think the world needs more of that.”
FBI Agent Jimmy Woo is portrayed as a fun-loving, yet competent individual. Randall Park shared some infectious charm alongside Paul Rudd in Ant-Man and the Wasp and also shared a great dynamic with Kat Dennings and Teyonah Parris in WandaVision. Here’s hoping we see him return sooner rather than later.
