Henry Cavill revealed he is interested in playing a James Bond villain in a future film.
No Time To Die will be Daniel Craig’s final film as James Bond and early reactions point to the film being a satisfying conclusion. The hunt for the next 007 will begin next year and Henry Cavill is always at the top of the wishlist from fans when it comes to Bond fan castings. Cavill was even up for the iconic role many years ago.
In an interview with The Movie Dweeb, Henry Cavill was once again asked if he would be interested in joining the 007 franchise, but as a villain and not James Bond:
“If Barbara [Broccoli] and Michael [G. Wilson] interested me in any capacity to be a part of their movies, then I will gladly have that discussion, and that would be something I’d be very keen to explore further.”
Here is the plot synopsis for No Time To Die:
Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
