One of the highlights from last week’s Nintendo Direct was without question the reveal of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, a new 3D Kirby game headed to Switch next year.
We were treated to just over two minutes of footage in total consisting of large 3D spaces, combat and copy abilities, and lots of Kirby waddling around on his lonesome. In fact, having gotten so used to the Kirby Star Allies-style formula, where Kirby and friends find themselves bouncing around more compact 2D levels, seeing our favourite puffball roaming around such a vast area was quite the sight to behold.
