Netflix unveiled the official title sequence for Cowboy Bebop featuring John Cho.
The upcoming live-action adaptation of the anime series Cowboy Bebop is on the way, and fans are quite excited to see John Cho bring Spike Spiegel to life. The original anime is steeped in science fiction and neo-noir and also borrows heavily from the western genre as well. The anime is widely considered one of the best animated series of all-time, and often cited as an entry point for viewers looking into introducing themselves to anime.
With Netflix’s upcoming live-action series finally coming out, the official title sequence featuring John Cho as Spike Spiegel with Yoko Kanno’s iconic music dropped during the Tudum event. You can check it out down below:

Although live-action adaptations of anime series have had a mixed history, here’s hoping that the Cowboy Bebop team not only do the anime justice, but give John Cho a great property for him to lead. Over the years, he has shown that he is more than capable to lead such an exciting title. Based on what we’ve seen so far, it looks like the series is fully embracing its sci-fi roots, and that’s certainly a good sign.

Cowboy Bepop is written by Christoper Yost and stars John Cho, Mustafa Shakir, Daniella Pineda, Alex Hassell, Elena Satine, and Rachel House. The series debuts on November 19.
