Here’s Everything We Wore to London Fashion Week

Oh, dressing up, how we’ve missed you. We’ve spent 18 long and dreary months apart, and now, we are wholeheartedly throwing ourselves into your joyful embrace. It’s convenient, then, that London Fashion Week should arrive at this exact moment, bringing with it plenty of opportunities to don our glad rags and hit the streets of the Big Smoke with fellow fashion folk. We never thought we’d see the day that we would be excited about wearing heels. Yep, lockdown will do that to you.

So what did Who What Wear’s editors wear to celebrate this momentous return to event dressing? In typical fashion, we all brought our own personality to the mix (with a little help from Hurr—rental for the win), wearing everything from floaty midi dresses and vintage leather coats to psychedelic swirl prints and the odd pop of pink. Boy did we have fun putting these outfits together, and hopefully, it shows.

If you fancy a little new-season inspo or if you’re simply a bit nosy about other people’s wardrobes (same), scroll down to see what we wore to London Fashion Week.

“I fell in love with this vintage skirt the moment I saw it on Depop. I wanted to balance out the ‘granny’ vibes, so I styled it with my fave Ganni logo tee and Loeffler Randall’s dreamy knee-high boots.” — Joy Montgomery, Shopping Editor

“For my first LFW show, I wanted to go head-to-toe vintage with a printed silken shirt I had bought earlier that day, a pair of slinky black trousers and a bottle-green leather trench. Alohas’ two-tone boots finish off the look nicely.” — Montgomery

“I opted for a light and flowy mesh midi dress for both style and comfort. I love pairing a dainty dress with some edgy footwear, so these knee-high chunky black boots had to make the cut.” — Remi Afolabi, Video Content Creator

“I was inspired by Alexa Chung with this double-breasted suit ensemble. It comes in a statement-making blue, so I kept the rest of the look simple and stuck to a Rixo neckerchief and heeled boots. Accessory-wise, Hurr’s Chanel rental was all it needed to shine.” — Montgomery
