Vision actor Paul Bettany is ready for another season of WandaVision if it happens.
While WandaVision didn’t score any major Emmys on Sunday night, that doesn’t take away from how well-received Marvel Studios’ first television show was. The show competed under the limited series category at the Emmys and Kevin Feige has made it clear there will not be another season of the series.
It seems Marvel’s plan for their shows is for some like Loki to get multiples seasons, and others, like WandaVision, to get a limited run. However, Paul Bettany shared with Entertainment Weekly that if a second season of WandaVision were to ever happen, he’s ready to go:
“I’m already in. If it’s there, I’m in.”
Paul Bettany’s Vision might have died several times in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor is still expected to return as White Vision after the events of the WandaVision series finale. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch will return in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Here is the synopsis for WandaVision:
Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
Matt Shakman directed the series with Jac Schaeffer as the lead scribe with Kevin Feige producing. WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Evan Peters as Ralph Bohner, and Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness.
