Zack Snyder posted a selfie of him wearing Ben Affleck’s cowl in honor of Batman Day 2021.
For any filmmaker that has had the honor of bringing Batman to life on the big screen, there are a few things that they likely couldn’t help themselves but geek out. Clearly, there are certain tools from the Caped Crusader’s essentials that are irresistible such as the Batmobile, but one of the most coveted things is the chance to don the cowl.
Zack Snyder had the opportunity to work with Ben Affleck as Batman on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. In celebration of Batman Day 2021, he posted a selfie of him wearing the cowl on his official Vero profile, and he actually fits it pretty well:
Based on the caption, Zack Snyder certainly isn’t wrong. Just be honest with yourself, if left alone it, would you not wear the cowl? Especially one as awesome as the one Ben Affleck wore? Of course not. Every Batman fan can’t resist such a fun opportunity, and it’s clear that the Justice League director has the character in a special place in his heart.
