The Book of Boba Fett director Robert Rodriguez continues to add hype for the next live-action Star Wars series.
At the end of credits of The Mandalorian season two finale, it was revealed that a Boba Fett spin-off series was coming to Disney Plus this Christmas after the fan-favorite character was reintroduced to canon.
Robert Rodriguez notably directed The Mandalorian episode that saw Boba Fett don his armor once again. Rodriguez also served as one of the directors on The Book of Boba Fett, and recently teased that the series will over-deliver. In a recent interview with The Nerdy Basement, Robert Rodriguez continued to speak very highly of The Book of Boba Fett series:
“I’ve got so much to tell you about that, but I’m out of time. Yeah, I can’t say anything about that, sworn to silence. I can say I’m working on it and I can tell you it’s gonna blow your mind. You saw him arrive in my episode of The Mandalorian, that was nothing. That was nothing. I can talk it up all I want because I know it’s gonna deliver, I know it’s gonna over-deliver.”
The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Giancarlo Esposito, Temuera Morrison, Katee Sackhoff, Ming-Na Wen, Bill Burr, Timothy Olyphant, and Carl Weathers, with Rosario Dawson joining the series as Ahsoka Tano ahead of her spin-off series. The series was created by Jon Favreau and executive produced by Dave Filoni, with season two episodes also directed by Rick Famuyiwa, Bryce Dallas Howard, Peyton Reed, Carl Weathers, and Robert Rodriguez.
