Smallville star Allison Mack has begun her 3-year prison sentence for her role in the NXIVM cult.
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed today that Allison Mack, most known for her role as Chloe Sullivan in Smallville, has started her prison sentence early. Mack was originally set to start her sentence on September 29. In addition to her 3-year sentence, the Smallville star must pay a fine of $20,000 and participate in 1,000 hours of community service.
The Chloe Sullivan actor was arrested in 2018 with other members of the NXIVM cult. Allison Mack was found guilty of forced labor charges and federal sex trafficking the following year. She pleaded guilty to charges that stated she manipulated and forced women into becoming sex slaves for Keith Ranier, the leader of the NXIVM cult.
Allison Mack originally faced 14 to 17 and a half years in prison for her charges but her cooperation with authorities and investigators led to her sentence be trimmed. Mack is currently in custody Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, Calif..
