Marvel Studios has released a poster teasing Michael B Jordan’s return as Killmonger for What If…?.
After debuting Captain Carter, killing off the Avengers, and showing Doctor Strange obliterate the universe, Marvel is now set to bring back Killmonger for What If…?. The next episode of What If…? is set to focus on Michael B Jordan’s Killmonger teaming up with Tony Stark. Details on Killmonger’s return are slim, and we don’t exactly know if Erik Stevens’ heart has changed for better or for worse this time around.
To celebrate the return of the iconic Black Panther villain, Marvel Studios has released a brand new poster teasing Michael B Jordan’s Killmonger.
Erik Killmonger looks just how he did in 2018’s Black Panther, with not much variation. That’s not necessarily a bad thing but we’re hoping to see the character evolve, at least in personality, in his episode with Tony Stark. The trailer for the series briefly showed Killmonger saving Tony Stark and Rhinos with battle armor, but it’s unclear what the larger story is. Luckily, the episode drops in a few short days, so we’ll know exactly what Killmonger is up to.

What If…? features the voices of Josh Brolin, Natalie Portman, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Mark Ruffalo, Michael B Jordan, Chadwick Boseman, Jeffrey Wright, Hayley Atwell, and other major stars from the MCU.
