Arrow star Stephen Amell received a tattoo commemorating the show’s impact on his personal life.
After eight seasons and 170 episodes, The CW’s Arrow officially came to an end on January 28, 2020. The series, which starred Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, was The CW’s first in the Arrowverse shared universe of DC Comics TV shows, which was soon followed by The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Black Lightning, Batwoman and Superman & Lois.
Playing Oliver Queen in Arrow was Stephen Amell’s breakout role, and his work in the series certainly left a significant impact not only on his career, but in his life. Given that the series has been off the air for over a year, Stephen Amell has had some time to reflect on the significance the show has had to him personally, and with that in mind, he has officially given himself a tattoo to remember those years:
Arrow was not the only Arrowverse series that recently finished its run. Black Lightning recently concluded after four seasons and 58 episodes, while Supergirl recently wrapped production on its sixth and final season. At the end of the day, Stephen Amell can also look back at the fact that his series helped set up a foundation for an even larger universe of DC Comics original series on The CW, and further introducing fans into the exciting worlds on display.
Here is the official synopsis for the final season of Arrow:
