A new video from the New York set of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts shows off Optimus Prime’s new G1 look.

The seventh film in the Transformers franchise, Rise of the Beasts is set to take place in 1994 and focuses on two humans who discover infamous Transformers. Details on the film are slim, though it is known that the seventh film in the storied franchise will take inspiration from the Beast Wars animated series that dominated television in the 90s.

It has already been confirmed that Maximals like Optimus Primal will be appearing in the film, but that doesn’t mean classic Transformers like Optimus Prime or Bumblebee won’t be showing up. In fact, with production ongoing in the streets of Brooklyn, a set video was captured that shows Optimus Prime’s classic G1 look. This is the first time a live-action Transformers film will see Optimus Prime in his G1 form.
