For the fifth month on a row, Nevada casinos have brought in over a billion dollars in a month. In July, they actually set another revenue record by generating $1.36 billion. The Nevada Gaming Control Board reported the numbers, which were a rise of 80% over July of last year. The return of more entertainment, such as the Cirque du Soleil shows and concerts, and the opening of the new Resorts World Las Vegas certainly helped the numbers.
