Amazon Prime Video has released a music video that shows The Boys‘ A-Train starting off his rap career.
Besides Homelander, the most profitable member of The Seven has to be A-Train. The character has branched out into numerous industries, promoting products like action figures, shoes, and cereals. It turns out that being a superhero isn’t enough, as The Boys’ A-Train has now branched into music, giving rappers like Lil Baby, Kanye West, and Megan Thee Stallion a run for their money.
Amazon Prime Video has released a hilarious (but genuinely catchy music video for) Jessie T. Usher’s A-Train, one of the main superheroes from The Boys. The video is for a song titled “Faster”, which aptly fits the character’s powers. The track is a typical braggadocious rap song, with A-Train mentioning numerous times how fast and wealthy he is. The music video is set to low neon lights and features shots of a speeding car driving through a glitzy, neon-backed city.
Jessie T. Usher performs the rap himself, with additional vocals provided by Aimée Proal. The Boys star also wrote the song alongside Isaac Lucas, Colton Fisher, Rebecca Sonnenshine, and Christopher Lennertz, who also penned the music.
Here is the official synopsis for the second season of The Boys:
The even more intense, more insane season two finds The Boys on the run from the law, hunted by the Supes, and desperately trying to regroup and fight back against Vought. In hiding, Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) try to adjust to a new normal, with Butcher (Karl Urban) nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) must navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander (Antony Starr) sets his sights on taking complete control. His power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront (Aya Cash), a social media-savvy new Supe, who has an agenda of her own. On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation’s paranoia.
The series stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, and Colby Minifie, and Jensen Ackles.
