Marvel has released motion covers for each of the Eternals, teasing the film’s many new characters.
One of the most exciting projects coming out of Marvel has to be Eternals, a film that showcases Earth throughout the years from the point of view of the extraterrestrial humanoids. Directed by Oscar-winning director Chloe Zhao, Eternals is stacked with an award-winning ensemble cast that consists of Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, and Richard Madden, among others.
Details on the film are slim, though it is known that the Eternals have been watching over humans for thousands of years without interfering in their affairs. How they involve themselves in our issues and choose to protect humans after years of having a hands-off approach remains to be seen.
With the film set to hit cinemas in November, Entertainment Weekly has debuted 10 motion covers for each of the ten Eternals. In addition to the beautiful covers, EW has attached blurbs for each alien, giving us further insight into the new Marvel Studios characters.
While Eternals is still set to hit cinemas in early November, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was asked if the film could release on Disney Plus. Feige didn’t denounce a potential streaming release, though he remained hopeful that Marvel’s latest would be seen in cinemas.
Chloé Zhao is directing Eternals from a script written by Matthew and Ryan Firpo. The cast of the Marvel Studios project includes Gemma Chan as Sersi, Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Angelina Jolie as Thena, and Barry Keoghan as Druig.
Eternals is set to hit theaters on November 5, 2021. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Eternals, Kevin Feige, and the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
