A new video from the Atlanta set of Shazam: Fury of the Gods teases a surprising romance between two key characters.

Details are relatively slim on Zachary Levi’s second outing as the cheery superhero but a new set video might have just teased one of Shazam! Fury of the Gods‘ subplots. In the new video, Zachary Levi’s Shazam! and Djimon Hounsou’s Wizard are seen watching Rachel Zegler’s character sharing a kiss with Jack Dylan Grazer’s Freddy. It’s unclear who exactly Shazam! newcomer Zegler will be playing, though all signs point to her playing a daughter of Atlas.
Zegler’s character will be a sister to Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu’s villains as a daughter of Atlas. It’s not clear at what point this scene takes place in the film. If we put on our film buff hats, it’s easy to imagine this scene preceding the third act, where Zegler’s character abandons her villainous sisters and joins the Shazam! family. Or perhaps this takes place early on in the film, leading to some hilarious banter between Jack Dylan Grazer and Asher Angel’s characters. Regardless of where it takes place, Levi’s astonished face as Zegler flees the scenes is absolutely hilarious and worth the watch alone.
The set video also provides a solid new look at Zachary Levi’s Shazam! suit, which is far less flashy than the one seen in the first film, thanks to the lack of a bulging lightning bolt.

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quick.
