New set photos from Shazam! Fury of the Gods united Djimon Hounsou and members of the Marvel family together.
Recently, it was revealed that Academy Award-nominee Djimon Hounsou would be reprising his role as the Wizard in the upcoming DC Extended Universe sequel, Shazam! Fury of the Gods. The actor previously appeared in its 2019 predecessor, in which his Wizard character reluctantly entrusts young Billy Batson (Asher Angel) as the new champion (Zachary Levi) to wield the powers of Shazam when the threat of Doctor Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Strong) became too strong.
Some fans were caught by surprise to see Djimon Hounsou reprise his role in the sequel Shazam! Fury of the Gods, given that the Wizard is shown crumbling into dust after bestowing his powers to Billy. Now, we have an intriguing new look at Djimon Hounsou’s return as the Wizard alongside a few members of the Marvel family. New set photos reveal Grace Fulton, Jovan Armand and Ian Chen alongside the Wizard on horseback.
